37 of our Senior Piranhas competed in the 2022 NSW Senior Metro Champs on the weekend of the 19th and 20th March. The dismal weather didn’t bother our swimmers who were on fire in the pool right from the very start.
Day 1 saw our Piranhas earn 4 Gold, 3 Silver and 2 Bronze medals along with 20 other Top 10 finishes. Luke H, Dom M & Lachlan D showed them who was boss when they set 3 new NSW Metropolitan records.
Day 2 continued with the successes in the pool with the senior swimmers adding 4 Gold, 6 Silver, & 4 Bronze medals to the tally as well as 13 other Top 10 finishes. Luke H & Lachlan D broke another two NSW Metropolitan records to add to their collection and the weekend culminated with us being named 3rd overall in the Combined Metropolitan point score – what an amazing achievement!
