Competitive Swimming Associations
Swimming Metro North East (SMNE)
The Warringah Aquatic Swim Club (WASC) is affiliated with Swimming Metro North East (SMNE). SMNE is the local arm of Swimming NSW and Swimming Australia, our sport’s governing body.
As one of the 17 local Clubs affiliated with SMNE, our Club members are afforded numerous Development programs and competitive Meet opportunities throughout both the Winter and Summer Season. These activities range from development training and competitive opportunities for our youngest and newest swimmers all the way through to Area level Championship Meets.
While it is not compulsory for members of the Warringah Aquatic Swim Club to participate in these opportunities it is highly recommended as these opportunities support all swimmers who are working towards State level events and beyond.
