He started with mini squads and over time worked his way through the ranks and was formerly the Head Coach of the MLC Marlins Swim Club and ran the MLC school program. Over the years he has produced many metro, state and national champions as well as state open gold medallists. Frank has been selected in NSW teams as a coach since 2007 as well as being a regular on Emerging talent squads. Frank describes his coaching highlight as being selected on the Trans-tasman Team in 2013 where he had the pleasure of having Kyle Chalmers as part of the squad.
Outside of coaching, his main passion is surfing and he has completed 20 half Ironman Triathlons over the past 10 years. With his partner, Vicki, Frank ran an anti-bullying program at the local primary school teaching kids not only how to defend themselves but also helping them grow in confidence.
Cam and Frank work closely with Angelo at all levels of the program. We are vey fortunate and excited to have such an incredible and cohesive coaching team.
Squad Training Providers
In 2015, Jon Bell and Mike Langley took over the squad coaching services at the WAC with a vision to bring back a strong emphasis on squad swimming and consequently build a culture of excellence in training to provide swimmers and support to the Warringah Aquatic Swimming Club.
In January 2022 NS Swim School took over Squad coaching and is the current provider of coaching and squad training services. Please contact them for all squad training enquiries and trials.
Our selection of first class coaches has made their vision come true taking Warringah Aquatic Swim Club from having 1 or 2 representative swimmers at Area level to the 10th highest point scoring Club in Australia in 2021 and 2022, with 40 National level representatives in 2023 and International representatives in 2023 and 2024.
Each year our Club continues its upward progression and is currently ranked 3rd at State level and 5th in the Country (as at April 2023)!
