Largest team at SMNE

November 18, 2022 by admin

The weekend of the 12th and 13th November saw our largest contingent in SMNE history compete at the SMNE LC Summer Championships at SOPAC. With 100 of our athletes competing in 458 events and 32 relays it was non-stop action both in the pool and on pool deck.

Overall, Warringah came 2nd in the point score and in the medal tally behind the much larger Knox Pymble Swim Club. With over 50% PB rate plus new State and national qualifiers the weekend was a huge success for both our swimmers and coaches.

A huge thank you to Head Coach Cameron who spent his birthday weekend with his beloved team of Piranhas!

Thank you also to our Technical officials, 11 from Warringah, who made this fantastic meet possible. Thanks to our parent timekeepers as well, without all these volunteers these meets couldn’t be run.
