Warringah Swimmers Shine with 2nd Place Finish at SMNE Aspire Cup!
An outstanding performance from the club’s youngest competitors
Warringah Aquatic’s rising stars made a big splash over the weekend, taking out 2nd place overall at the SMNE Aspire Cup – a short course development meet for swimmers aged 13 and under.
A team of 26 swimmers proudly represented Warringah, delivering an inspiring performance marked by 13 gold, 9 silver, and 9 bronze medals, along with a staggering 74 personal bests from 93 individual swims—an impressive 80% PB strike rate.
Skins Showdown: Speed, Stamina, and Grit
One of the weekend’s most exciting events was the Skins 50m freestyle knockout, featuring the fastest eight boys and girls in the 11 & Under and 12–13 years age categories. Swimmers competed through multiple elimination rounds, showcasing nerves of steel and serious speed.

A special congratulations goes to Atlas Goroglu, who triumphed in the 11 & Under Boys Skins, powering through four intense rounds to claim 1st place.
