Congratulations to our Junior Piranhas at NSW Jnr Metro Champs this weekend. A cracking meet had by all 38 athletes in 130 races.
Two exciting days were spent at SOPAC on the 26th-27th November, competing against 60 other Clubs within the Metropolitan Area. It was non-stop action in the pool from event 1 through to event 90 with every junior Piranha doing us proud.
With a 62% PB rate, we finished the meet with 7 Gold, 6 silver, 5 Bronze medals and a whopping 32 other Top 10 finishes ending up on 5th place in the point score and the medal tally.
A special mention to Joce Melbourn who kicked the meet off by breaking the Girls 11yrs NSW Metropolitan record in the 400FR swimming a 4:51.56 and then finished the meet off by breaking the girls 11yrs NSW Metropolitan record in the 50BF with a 30.60 – WOOHOO, Congratulations Joce!!
