WOW! WOW! WOW! What a fantastic meet and an amazing experience for our swimmers to be competing against the best of the best from Australia and the world!!
This year the Australian Short Course Nationals was held at SOPAC with a number of other Countries invited to compete so it was a great opportunity for our qualifying swimmers to be able to compete against not only elite Australian Olympic swimmers but elite Olympians from many other countries right in our own “backyard” pool.
We had 16 swimmers (including 3 relay alternates) competing in 41 individual and 8 Relay events. From the Heat swims we had 7 swimmers advance to 21 Finals in the evening 
Shout out to Matthew Harris for his efforts making the Australian All Time Top Ten Rankings, 6th fastest all time 15 years Boys 100m Individual Medley and to Bailey Screen 9th fastest all time 15Yrs Boys 200m Breaststroke. They join the ranks of Olympians Matt Wilson, Kenny To, and Zac Stubblety-Cook to mention just a few – woohoo, go boys!!
A huge highlight of our meet was meeting Beata Nelson, Jamal Hill, Grant House and other swimmers from Team USA – the friendliest, nicest group of swimmers we’ve had the pleasure of meeting – thank you for your time and advice to our swimmers, it’s something they will always remember 💗🖤🇺🇸
